建学の象徴である「白梅」は、寒苦風雪に耐え、美しい花を咲かせ、やがて実を結びます。本校は、この白梅の姿に象徴される建学の精神を礎に、豊かな教養と忍耐力を備え、人のため、社会のために力を尽くす「真のリーダー・真のエリート」の育成を目指しています。

AIをはじめとする科学技術が急速に進歩し、社会が大きく変化する今日、子どもたちには、知識を身につけるだけでなく、自ら考え、判断し、他者と協働しながら、新たな価値を生み出す力が求められています。こうした時代だからこそ、人間としての豊かな感性や思いやり、相手を理解し、自分の考えを伝える力を育むことが一層重要になると思います。

本校では、創立以来大切にしてきた日本の伝統や文化を基盤に、「人間力」「言語力」「伝統文化と国際理解」の三つを教育の柱として、子どもたちの豊かな人間性と未来を切り拓く力を育んでいます。日々の学校生活を通して礼節や思いやりの心を養うとともに、箏や書道、茶道、能などの伝統文化に触れ、言葉を通して自分の考えを表現し、世界の多様な文化や価値観を理解する学びを大切にしています。

「はるかぜは子どもたちを大切に育てます」を教育スローガンに、これまで培ってきた伝統を受け継ぎながら、新しい時代の変化にも柔軟に対応し、子どもたち一人ひとりが自分の可能性を広げ、AI時代を主体的に、たくましく生きていく力を身につけられるよう、これからも教育の充実に努めてまいります。

◆Message from the Principal

The white plum blossom, the symbol of our school, represents perseverance and the strength to overcome challenges and flourish. Guided by this spirit, we aim to nurture true leaders with knowledge, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility who can contribute to society.

In today's rapidly changing world, especially in the age of AI, children need the ability to think independently, make sound judgments, communicate with others, and create new value. Equally important are kindness, creativity, and respect for others.

Since our founding, we have valued Japanese traditions and culture. Our education is based on three pillars: Character Development, Language Skills, and Traditional Culture and International Understanding. Through these three pillars, we nurture well-rounded individuals who appreciate their own culture, respect different perspectives, and have the confidence to shape the future.

Guided by our motto, “Harukaze cherishes every child and supports their growth,” we continue to build on our traditions while embracing new challenges and preparing children to thrive in the age of AI.
